Artemis Fowl is trying to find the elves. Holly (an elf) needed to recharge her energy, but gets caught by Mr.Fowl. The other elves come strait to the rescue. The only way to get Captian Holly back is to give Artemis Fowl a ton of gold. Will they give the gold to him? Then the battle begins. A troll goes into Mr. Fowl’s house. Will they survive? Who knows?
My opinion is that the book is a great book for action type people. When I read this book I loved it and read it in the spare time I had.
The recommendation of this book is that it is good for people that like action books and love to read. If you like that then try to read this book. Have a good time reading it.

I agree with one of the other reviews that if you are a Christian this book does go against some of the fundamentals that Christians embrace.
I have the second and third books and in there he says that Hitler went to Heaven because death is not really bad. If you have no solid Christian doctrines than you might believe what the author says. We have no real way of knowing the truths of these books. Don’t always assume it is true, but it can be interesting reading. Please just beware of what you read and absorb from these books. They are not total truths or doctrines.

I’ve not been a big gamer through the years. To put it into perspective, we had Pong, then an Intellevision game unit. No X Box or PlayStation. I love our Wii! The sports disc that comes with it has some fun activities. We spent about a week exploring the system before adding the Wii Fit Plus (reviewed separately). What you take from this book depends mostly on the type of person you are.

If you spend your life shaking your head at what others around you are doing “wrong”, while internally applauding your own goodness…if you subscribe to narrow-minded views which you call “the Word of God” but which really serve to spread hate and fear against things you don’t understand or which really aren’t any of your business in the first place…if you’ve spent your life denying yourself the joy which could have been yours in favor of doing what you were taught was “right”…if you have ignored the fact that it has been proven and recorded in history that the Bible was originally composed of much more than we know today, but due to man’s corruption (and fear of loss of power over those they ruled) was edited according to man’s agenda…Yeah, you hate this book because you feel as though you’ve been insulted. You will fixate on the fact that it states that there is no heaven or hell, no devil, no damnation. No vengeful, wrathful God to punish those wrongdoers around you. That everything you hung your hopes on isn’t real. After all, this is the God you’ve lived your life thinking you knew, and you’re probably afraid to think beyond that. That’s a shame, because you’re missing the point entirely.

Meanwhile, if you want to live a life of love, joy and peace…if you already believed prior to reading this that there must be more to life than what you see around you with your human eyes…if you already believed that we are all one, and that we are all a part of God, and that we are all meant for more than what we have been taught we are worth, that we are NOT naturally sinful or shameful, that we are all gifted with God’s love regardless of what we do, that we are perfect creations which make bad choices…you’ll love this book as I do, and you’ll refer back to it frequently as I do in order to reinforce the ideas and make them a part of your heart.

I have a rottweiler that sheds like his hair is going out of style. With the Furminatore its disgusting but so amazing what comes off of him. He has some skin alergie that causes him to chew his bottome but with this come it helps get all the dead stuff off(hair dander). Thanks to this tool my dog will continue to have a furry bottom WOOHOO. specialy the price i got it for $15 was a steal. GET IT!!

I got this machine after the very basic $90ish Bissell I had for 4 or 5 years starting stinking (Similar to this but older: Bissell PowerLifter PowerBrush Upright Steam Carpet Cleaner). It still worked, but it must have cleaned up one too many chocolate milk spills. We took it apart and cleaned as much as we could, but to no avail – those things are not designed to be cleaned, and we could not get the stink out.

I chose this Hoover model because it was so well reviewed and relatively inexpensive. I used my bissell probably every 2-4 weeks on my 14 year old offwhite carpet that we (husband, me, 4 year old twin boys and 2 cats ) eat and play on daily.

To compare the two just on the actual cleaning, to my eyes, they are equivocal. The Hoover was able to get the stuff out that the Bissell had been able to get out. The water from the Hoover was no dirtier than it had been in the Bissell. I will say that the cleaning solution they send with the Hovoer is not as good as the Woolite OxyDeep steam cleaning solution you can buy at Walmart. I used the Hoover stuff initially and was very disappointed, but the second time switched back to the Woolite cleaner with much better results.

The Hoover is, however, significantly better at extracting the cleaning solution. The waste water container filled up everytime before the solution tank was empty. With the Bissell, I would fill the tank with solution and only get about half of what I put on the carpet back up. This left the carpet very wet; I’d turn on the ceiling fan and place 3 box fans in our great room and 6 hours later the floor would be dry. With the Hoover, the carpets were slightly damp after cleaning, and were dry within an hour with celing fan and 1 box fan. In the end, this probably translates to cleaner carpets since more cleaning solution is being extracted.

The outer part of the screen is all lens. Huge amount of vignetting unless the camera is zoomed in which defeats the purpose of a wide angle adapter.

The treads on the 30.5 adapter do not work on either my camera or my UV filter I could use the 30mm bu tit is not right. So back to the store with this cheap lens.

The OtterBox Defender Case for the iPhone has good and bad features as follows:

1) Good – very durable and has its own protective touch-screen super-imnposed over the iPhone touch-screen through which one views and activates iPhone features and apps; this keeps scratches off the iPhone and “helps” protect the iPhone screen if dropped and/or bumped.
2) Somewhat Bad – There is a distortion where the OtterBox Defender touch-screen touches the iPhone touch-screen; this causes little or no visual problems
3) Bad – The carrying case that fits over one’s belt or other location does not hold the iPhone securely and is basically of little use

If you are going to carry the iPhone in a pocket or purse, this is a good purchase.

If you are looking to carry the iPhone on a belt or other article of clothing, this is not a good purchase unless you are willing to buy a different more affective carrying case.

I bought this for my Canon DSLR so I can keep the dust out of my camera. Fits perfect. Price is excellent. I only gave it a four start because it is a generic cap and does not have the Canon label on it like the ad portrays. Yeah Iam a label whore. After spending lots of cash for my equipment, I want them all to match up. Dont YOU?
