I love PACK Dog 3 Crazy

I got my Kindle a year and a half ago, as one of the best birthday presents I’ve received. I had wanted an ereader for years, and finally got the chance when my partner and friends chipped in for an Amazon gift certificate so I could buy one. I had been researching ereaders, and had four criteria:

One, that it would have a good selection of books available for purchase.

Two, that it would be compatible with a New York Times subscription.

Three, that it would be compatible with downloaded ebooks from the library.

And four, that there would be an app for Android phones.

At the time, there was no e-reader that met all of those criteria. The Sony Reader didn’t have as good a selection of books, and at the time, you couldn’t get a New York Times subscription on it. The Kindle isn’t compatible with library books. And none of the ereaders at the time had an app for Android phones. I chose the Kindle, because Amazon has the biggest ebookstore, and because it would let me get my newspaper on the reader, rather than having stacks of paper pile up.

I love the Kindle. I’m an avid reader, but I’ve got a couple of disabilities that were making holding books into a thoroughly miserable experience. Having an ereader meant that I could once again read for hours without having to give up because my hands hurt too much! It’s a delight.

But, as an avid reader, I was starting to realize that the cost of buying books (often re-buying books that I already owned in physical book form) was getting out of hand. I needed a way to make use of the free new books I could download from the library. (I believe in copyrights, and so I choose not to get bootleg copies of books.) So, as much as I love my Kindle, I finally decided that I needed a nook. It took me months to convince my partner that there was a good reason to have *both* a Kindle and a nook. I finally offered to quit smoking, and use the money I saved by doing that to buy the nook. (Yes. I gave up smoking just so I could have a s

3 Assorted 11 5 and you

In order to clean carpets at my own pace, I decided to purchase a carpet cleaner after years of renting a commercial cleaner. I was pleasantly surprised when I found this cleaner easy to use, lightweight enough to move around, and that it did a good cleaning the carpets. Despite a few problems with the tools falling out of the holders while moving the machine, I would recommend this product.

Printed pin button 3 change

So often I wonder when buying a product like this if it will work with Linux. The short answer is yes it does. Install pyTrainer and GPSbable and your good to go.

The watch itself is good too. It has more feature than I had time to explore. I use it to chart my run times and distances. When used on a Linux box it will track your path on google maps and keep daily / Monthly / Yearly workouts and allow you to graph your heart rate, distances, times, and elevation change. The only downside is that the watch is a little bulky.

A note on the Heart Rate Monitor: It has to be moist to work. This is no problem once you get going and warm up, but it’s spotty at best until you heat up.

Focus on Size Denim Color 3

Bought as a present for my son, the apps we’ve downloaded have given him hours of fun. My only wish would be to bring down the price another $10-20. Thanks Steve Jobs and everyone else at Apple for creating this great device.

Hello Garmin 350 nüvi 3

I purchased this GPS navigator for my husband for a Christmas gift since he was always printing off maps from Mapquest. I asked my daughter for suggestions of what system to buy and she in turn asked a friend of hers who had one already. Her friend did copious research on GPS systems and ended up buying a Garmin. I relied on his advice since he’s a computer geek and knows everything.

3 Story Toy Thank for good

I’ve owned all kinds of carpet machines, from little hand-helds to a monster commercial RinseNVac (that cost a small fortune) and I have to say, this relatively inexpensive one handily outperforms them all. I wouldn’t say that it’s up to commercial use because *everything* that could be made of plastic *is* plastic, however with normal household use, I don’t expect to have any problems with breakage. It’s robust enough to stand up to normal handling.

There are a few things that are important to me in carpet cleaning: 1) Does it get the carpet clean? Yep. If you use hot water and the right amount of detergent, you’ll do as well as any more exotic machine with this one. (While this has nothing to do with the choice of machine, I find that premixing some detergent with some Clorox-2 and applying to problem areas with a brush (don’t soak it) will often get things out that the machine in normal use will not.) 2) Is it easy to fill and drain? Yep. Very easy if you just tilt back the handle against a wall or table while you’re changing tanks. The top tank snaps in and out in a second. The bottom tank unlocks with two easy to use tabs. The two tanks stack securely for easy carrying. Even more importantly, IT DOESN’T DRIP EVERYWHERE!! This is the first carpet machine I’ve had that doesn’t make a mess dripping everywhere during tank changes. The dirty water tank lid comes off for easy dumping. The detergent tank fills through a large hole. It couldn’t be easier. 3) Does it have enough static vacuum to pull the water out of the carpeting? Yep. They don’t specify the static water lift of the motor/fan, but it’s strong enough to extract nearly all the water that goes in. If the atmospheric dew point is reasonably low (40s or less, let’s say) and you use a fan to circulate air over the just cleaned area, you should expect to be able to use the area in a matter of two or three hours. That’s just outstanding. 4) Even without the squeegee, it does a reasonable
