My mom is suffering from macular degeneration and was having all kinds of trouble reading. Books that she could find in large print are very big and heavy as well as limited selection. When my wife purchased a Kindle we immediately thought of my Mom. She does not own or use a computer but she was up and running in a few days, and I do mean running. For people with poor sight this is wonderful thing. The fact that you don’t need internet connectivity is a plus for her. Also the size and weight is another big plus. She has sold several Kindles while waiting in doctors’ offices.

The mount is nearly perfect for the Garmin. The only flaw in the system is that I found it a tad difficult to install the garmin in the friction mount. Other than that its perfect. It’s a good weight, its stable, and best of all it can be removed easily so I can take it into the house or move it to another car.

I absolutely love this crib. It was very easy to put together. I was 7 months pregnant and put it together by myself. Has a very nice look. It is shorter than most cribs, but I dont see that as a problem, just different. I am 5′6″ and my husband is 6′3″, it doesnt bother either one of us. Well made and affordable!

The Garmin Forerunner 305 has been a great product to keep track of my miles and map my rides. Haven’t hooked up the cadence sensor yet, so just use it so far to track mileage and view on a map online. Also haven’t tried the HRM feature, which is why I bought it to begin with. I just need to plan a little more since the unoit whenn first turned on takes a little to find the satellites to track.

I’ve seen this item in pet stores for a *lot* more than the price I paid thru Amazon.com. The FURminator is really a great grooming too for either a cat or dog. I have both.

My cat has an extremely dense coat; this tool picks up an unbelievable amount of fur in a very short time. My cat has always loved to be brushed, this tool certainly hasn’t made any difference in that.

With my smallish dog, who I previously thought didn’t shed ‘all that much’, the FURminator also makes grooming a breeze. He, unlike the cat, hates being the “evil brush”.

Garmin nüvi 885 4

I had a polar hrm before this. This item blows the polar away. It actually motivates me to run so I can go back home and upload the data to my computer and then look at all the charts and graphs. I can see the data that is important to me like heart rate, speed, and pace. You can even export it to google earth. Pretty cool.

My favorite feature is the real time pace. This has helped me a lot during training and running a 5k. I can see if I am going to slow or be wowed by how fast I am actually running.

I have not spent enough time to get familiar with all the menus and options because right out of the box it gave me almost everything I was looking for. May pick up the foot sensor so I can get the same kind of data while running on the treadmill.
