I’ve seen this item in pet stores for a *lot* more than the price I paid thru Amazon.com. The FURminator is really a great grooming too for either a cat or dog. I have both.

My cat has an extremely dense coat; this tool picks up an unbelievable amount of fur in a very short time. My cat has always loved to be brushed, this tool certainly hasn’t made any difference in that.

With my smallish dog, who I previously thought didn’t shed ‘all that much’, the FURminator also makes grooming a breeze. He, unlike the cat, hates being the “evil brush”.

Love it right from Amazon of course i have been everywhere searching for one of these systems everywhere i hear there are a shortage on them. So i decide to go with Amazon, Great Choice!!!!! Amazon has and will keep my business and i’m very picky about where i spend my money.

I bought this 3rd Gen 64GB iPod touch to replace an older 20 GB iPod I had (3rd Gen on that one, I think). I had filled up my old iPod and needed something larger so I didn’t have to limit my choices in my portable music player.

I decided early on that I would get another iPod, I just had to choose between the 64 GB touch or the 120/160 GB classic. I liked the fact that with the classic, I pretty much would be set for a LONG time capacity-wise since I would only really use it as a music player. (How can people watch TV shows and movies on that tiny little screen?) Plus it was considerably cheaper than the touch. The things I liked about the touch were the wifi connectivity and the ability to get apps for utilities and games and such. In the end, I was able to free up some extra money in my finances so I went for the touch . . . and I haven’t been too dissapointed in my decision.

I’ve had the touch for about a month as of the writing of this review, and I just love it. It was everything I wanted, plus more!! I had to spend about a week going through all my old music files to add missing album covers so the album flow feature would look full (which I would have had to have done if I had chosen to go with the classic as well), but once that was done I was pretty much set. I was VERY dissapointed that there was no built in album shuffle feature in the touch (just the individual song shuffle) which had been one of my favorite things about my old iPod. But after a quick search I found that (guess what?) “There’s an app for that” and added it and I use it all the time with great success. I also found a grocery list app so I don’t have to hand write my list every week, and it will also give me a running total as I get my items!

Overall, I would highly reccomend that if 64GB is enough room, then the iPod touch is the way to go. If you need more space than that and can’t wait until Apple comes out with a larger touch, then the classic is probably the way to go.

Apple definitely has the monopoly on MP3 players. The iPod touch is wonderful. Great apps, good capacity for music (at 32GB), and great user interface. I use mine as my schedule, alarm clock, browser, to do list, address book, and of course music player. I love it!

I liked this tool so much. I love how it collects a huge ball of hair from my pet and I simply pick it up and throw it away. My dog gets a little annoyed at first every single time I start combing her, but she gets used to it right away and really seems to enjoy it in the end because she sits really still and allows me to comb her all over. I have a small dog, a chihuaha-poodle mix, so it takes me less than ten minutes to do it with the medium size tool. I try and comb her twice a week, but I know I should do it more often because she is shedding a lot right now. I highly recommend the Furminator.

“The Help” is a novel well-deserving of the praise that’s been heaped upon it, praise that has made its 40-year old author Kathryn Stockett a household name. Its slow but steady success from the time it hit bookshelves in February of 2009 probably came as a great surprise to the author after 45 initial rejections from literary agents. To her exponentially growing readership, it will come as an even greater surprise that “The Help” is her first novel, a novel which to this day is holding at #2 after 54 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List for Hardcover Fiction and has 2 million copies currently in print. Only a handful of first-time authors have bragging rights of that magnitude.

The story is told from three different viewpoints: Aibileen, an aging and seasoned black housemaid coping with the death of her son; Minny, a young black housemaid known for her brashness; and Eugenia “Skeeter” Phelan, a white woman aspiring to be a journalist. It is the early 1960’s and all are residents of Jackson, Mississippi, the lion’s den of racial divide. Stockett takes us deep into the cultivated jungle of thought of her hometown: the beauty, the pride, the shame, the ignorance and the injustice, all coupled with the riveting backdrop of the Civil Rights Movement.

Aibileen has worked for many families over the years, but the Leefolts seem to be the ones who test her patience the most, Elizabeth in particular. Spurned by whisperings of demonstrations and Elizabeth’s neglect of her 2-year old daughter Mae Mobley, Aibileen projects her deepest maternal instincts onto the girl in order to supplement the love she deserves, cope with the frustration she feels towards her employer and the agony of losing her own child.
